Most people during their lifetime at one point or another experience a traumatic event. Abuse, violence, natural disasters, or car accidents can leave us with feelings of anger, sadnessurt and or depressed and can cause deep psychological pain. Through the many techniques used in trauma recovery, you can begin to feel the benefits over the struggles in the aftermath of such a painful experience. If you are experiencing PTSD or post-traumatic stress disorder,  and are experiencing  flashbacks, anxiety nightmares, hyper arousal, depression, inability to manage thoughts or emotions, on edge or easily triggered then trauma therapy can help to improve emotional regulation and learn coping skills to manage your stress triggers and emotions. In doing this you will be able to nurture a healthier relationship most importantly with yourself but also your family and friends, increase your self-esteem, reduce and even discontinue avoidance behaviors and process any shame or guilt.
