Throughout the course of human history and across cultures, there have been gifted individuals who have helped people on their paths toward improved well being. These people have been called by a wide variety of names -- healers, shamans, therapists, doctors, nurses and mystics. Each of them developed a special way of entering into relationship with another person who was in suffering. This special type of relationship is called The Healing Relationship. The healing relationship is used as the foundation for a second type of relationship that directly promotes well being that is called The Mystic Relationship. Together, both relationships offer a description of the unique relationship that gifted practitioners enter into when seeking to help facilitate a person’s movement from suffering into well being. The website also contains additional books that are written to speak to the topics of the healing and mystic relationships in a different voice. One book, The Healer's Journey, is a book of parables and poetry. It is designed as to be used as a workbook to stimulate group discussion on topics related to the healing and mystic relationships. It is written to be used with persons from a wide range of backgrounds. A second book, The Ultimate Relationship, presents most of the material on the website in condensed form and in non-technical language, but also introduces the concept of radiant compassion. In addition to these four books, the web site contains links to many other sources of information on the nature of human relationships that directly promote well being. This includes information on training and some controversial views. There are also some books "in progress" that are linked to the development of compssion. The website is designed to be a central portal on the internet for information on the topic of relationships that promote well being. Anyone who seeks to help another person move from suffering toward well being will need to enter into relationship with that person. Understanding how gifted practitioners have entered into relationship, in the process of promoting well being, provides us all with the information to become more skilled at helping others. Please pass on this information so that others may benefit, and please send emails with ideas to improve this site.
